When I receive an album to master I’ll work on it and usually be done in a day. Not the case with Deane Ogden’s latest album project Kwela. I’ve loved being part of this album for just over a year and seeing it grow into what you’ll hear.
Following on from his 2013 solo album Eastern Chronicle, a world music album written and produced on a mobile recording rig while traveling through the Orient and South Pacific Islands for eighteen months, this time Deane journeyed to Africa for his Kwela musical inspiration.
This album sees Deane beautifully blend South African styles and performers with 80s style pop for a wonderful world fusion! A labour of love crafted for your enjoyment!!
