Monsier Linh and His Child
A beautiful companion soundtrack by Didier Recloux to the novel of the same name, written by French author/film director Philippe Claudel.
The music is at time epic but can also be very intimate, delicate and sometimes dark. With influences going from classical, jazz, pop/rock and progressive music, it is a project that was close to my heart for a long time now and I’m really excited to be able to share it with you.

I think the best way to listen to it would be as a whole, as a musical journey, one that follows the main character of the book, Monsieur Linh, from the time he leaves his homeland, discovers his new city, meets a new friend and all the way to the final “twist” and reveal of the novel. I hope you will enjoy listening to it as much as I did composing it. I would like to thanks Mr. Philippe Claudel for allowing me to use the title of his book and the names of his characters, his kindness and generosity.
