I had a fantastic time yesterday giving a guest lecture and two seminars with students at King’s College London.
The lovely Joanna Karselis invited me along to share some information on mixing and mastering basics to composers writing for film module.
Covered some general topics like ear training, protecting your hearing etc. and then focused on using EQ, compression and reverb and briefly explaining the process I use for mixing and mastering.
Was wonderful to share some laughs with Jo’s students and was happy I got some good engagement and reactions from them.
Good luck to them in their music writing careers!!
