Siheilw
siheilw is a traditional Welsh lullaby, reimagined through my personal lens. It was a song my Dad used to sing to me as a child to help me sleep as I was so afraid of the dark, I’d refuse to go to sleep with the bedroom lights switched off.
The piece sits somewhere between a lullaby and a jazz ballad. So this track is for Dad. For being by my side for every single piano competition, performance, every tear of disappointment, every advice, every feedback on new music, to being the kindest person in the world.
